Compatibility and Installation Considerations

When planning your installation, note that the B1200 cameras included in this kit are designed specifically for use with the Reolink PoE NVR. The system supports standard T-568B connectors and CAT5, CAT6, or CAT7 Ethernet cabling. Because this is a wired system, users should account for the labor involved in routing cables from the NVR to each camera location. The NVR hardware version N6MB01 allows for expansion, supporting a mix of PoE cameras and specific Reolink Wi-Fi models. Ensure your network environment and cable runs are prepared before mounting to take full advantage of the 12MP resolution and smart detection features.

Can I use these cameras with third-party smart home hubs like Alexa?

No, the cameras included in this specific Reolink kit are designed to work exclusively with the Reolink PoE NVR and do not support direct integration with third-party smart home voice assistants like Alexa.

Is the storage capacity of the NVR expandable?

Yes, the RLN16-410 NVR features internal ports that support up to 8TB per port, allowing for a total storage capacity of 16TB.

Are the cameras suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes, the cameras are IP67 waterproof and designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
